ABSTRACT
The right-wing meeting in Beijing has done a number of jobs for the imperialists that they needed done, as recounted above. 1 This is, however, one of the very last of the methods available to the imperialists for dealing with the Chinese anti-imperialist movement. The plot of the tools of imperialism, Yang Ximin and Liu Zhenhuan, to realize the objectives of the present right-wing meeting in Beijing by overthrowing the Guangzhou government had failed. The plot of the tools of imperialism, such as Liang Hongkai, Zheng Runqi, Wei Bangping, Mo Xiong, and Zhu Zhuowen, to realize the objectives of the present right-wing meeting following the murder of Liao Zhongkai had also failed. The plot of the tool of imperialism, Xiong Kewu, to realize the objectives of the present right-wing meeting in Beijing by conquering Guangzhou from the North River area had also failed. The plot of the tool of imperialism, Duan Qirui, to realize the objectives of the present right-wing meeting in Beijing by sending warships from Humen to attack Guangzhou had also failed. The tools of imperialism Chen Jiongming and Deng Benyin had also failed to realize the objectives of the present right-wing meeting in Beijing by striking at Guangzhou from both the east and the south. The work of all these tools of imperialism had been unsuccessful. The right wing of the Guomindang was very upset and flustered, so they convened this meeting in Beijing. They have changed their methods from “rifle and cannon bombardment” to “resolutions.” But how effective has this method been? It’s really hard to say. Naturally, the various resolutions of the right-wing meeting can only be considered an infantile charade. However, this method of “rebellion from within” is indeed a step forward from “rebellion from without.” After using up all of its tools, imperialism discovered this last tool, which has suddenly given it a little consolation in the midst of all its failures. Even if within the right wing there are a few who still give lip service to opposing imperialism, even if there is still one part of the right wing that is not sincerely committed to being used by imperialism, even if they refuse in any way to admit that they are the tools of imperialism, they are nevertheless, in reality, providing a great deal of assistance to imperialism and acting as the tools of imperialism, because the work they are doing addresses the needs of imperialism.
