ABSTRACT
Book Society takes its main task as the supply and sale of all kinds of worthwhile books, newspapers, and magazines, both Chinese and foreign. As for books published outside the province, our society has entered into special agreements with various bookstores and publishers, so that every time a new title is published, it will be sent to Hunan with the utmost speed and can quickly be read. When the initial promoters have subscribed the amount necessary to begin operations, we will begin on a small scale and gradually expand. Funds once invested will no longer be the property of the individual concerned; they can never at any time be withdrawn, nor will the investor ever be entitled to interest. A council of the Society will be organized by the investors and will appoint a manager, vested with full powers to run all the society's affairs.
