ABSTRACT
Part I of International Education: An Encyclopedia of Contemporary Issues and Systems consists of eight sections that focus on key constructs and issues in international education. These areas of emphasis are: Sociopolitical and Cultural Issues; Gender; Formal Education; Informal Education; Content, Curriculum, and Resources; Intellectual and Motor Development; Technologies and Global Education; and Institutions of Education Throughout the World.
