ABSTRACT
During this period (1974-80), a total of fourteen alumni were active in overseas assignments (Table 12.1). They are listed in the order of the commencement of their overseas assignments.
As shown in the table, several of them had been sent abroad prior to the first oil crisis of 1973 and remained in their assignments during this period. In addition, two alumni were transferred from one overseas assignment to another. In the table, Cases 1-1, 2, and 3 were partially discussed in Chapter 8, where Case 1-1 was rather fully treated and so needs no further discussion. Therefore, in this chapter we will cover the experiences of fourteen alumni in fifteen overseas assignments.
