ABSTRACT
It all started in early January 1992, when the London Sunday Times called me at my office in Baku, Azerbaijan, and asked me to travel to western Georgia to conduct an exclusive interview with the almost former Georgian president, Zviad Gamsakhurdia, and to ask him about how he felt getting putsched from power.
