ABSTRACT

Rabbah bar bar Ḥannah (RBBH) was a third-century rabbi of Palestinian origin to whom a variety of legal and aggadic sayings are attributed in the rabbinic corpus. The sources (mainly b. Berakhot 53b, Ḥullin 55b, Yebamot 120a) suggest that his literary character was that of a traveler especially acquainted with the desert landscape and its inhabitants.
