ABSTRACT
Seth had murdered Osiris and taken the throne of Egypt. Even before being told, Isis knew her beloved husband was dead and that Seth was responsible. Grief-stricken, she cut off her hair as a sign of mourning and was determined to find her husband’s body so he could have a proper burial and pass into the afterlife.
