ABSTRACT

There is a Latin inscription on the cover of the first volume of three sets: [168] "Bibliotheca S.1. Colleg. Iriensis I Libri pro scholarum I discipulis (sine val ore )." [168a] "Bibliotheca S.1. Colleg. Iriensis I Speculum parvulorum I pro Studio characterum." [168b] "Bibliotheca S.1. Colleg. Iriensis I Encyclopedia." Voghera, known in the old days as Iria (hence, Collegium Iriensis), is a small town near Pavia and according to the division of administration in the Society it belonged to the Turin Province.
