People first introduced Inspiration and FreeMind in, Note Taking and Organization, as tools for helping students take graphical, visual notes. Inspiration gives users many templates to begin with, and many more can be found online with a simple Google search. WEBSITE: Here are three excellent, interactive Web sites that help with grammar and writing conventions: Readability Statistics When the review is complete, the student will see a series of Readability Statistics that indicates the grade level of the writing and the ease with which the essay is read. The new tools discussed above empower student to evaluate their own writing.
