ABSTRACT
In the previous chapter we saw th a t the popular ideas abou t m ental faculties are erroneous chiefly because each supposed faculty is complex, and needs analysing into functions or abilities w hich are relatively independent. In this chapter we will consider how m odern psychology attem pts to analyse and re - group the fundam ental abilities of the m ind.
