What is it about finding the ‘right’ word for our thoughts or feelings that makes it such a satisfying, if not jubilant, experience? Perhaps because, in part, it presents an opportunity to share something with someone, to reveal something to another being that might understand me, and as a consequence, I might feel a little less alone.
