ABSTRACT

The author discusses that to what extent can a methodological framework based on CHAT provides a tool for self or negotiated evaluation of critical global educators. It demonstrates the incremental nature of this search, a brief reprise of my rationale reiterates the reflexivity that is a principle feature of critical ethnography. It also discusses the underlying discursive validity and specifies the purpose and criteria by which the research seeks to be evaluated. CHAT's analytical framework provides a principled, practical methodology for systemic, self- or negotiated evaluation of critical global educators. Realistically as a BT, author teaching modules chosen by my Head of Department and his job is to make learning fun and follow schemes of work, reflected the need, on 1-year teacher education courses, for skilful guidance of personal and professional subjectivity. The majority of the Postgraduate Certificate in Education respondents expressed optimism, lively interest, strong motivation and a serious sense of responsibility for conveying a global perspective.
