ABSTRACT

This chapter shows people how important that self-education is. Education was designed around the production process. The UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) coordinates a lot of the refugee work throughout the world, but many government and non-government organizations sponsor refugee camps around the world. The predominant theory of economics has a somewhat different view of inequality, that theory, known as neoclassical economics, fits reasonably well when national economies were somewhat isolated and built around industrial growth. Amartya Sen theory is that no society that has both the means to collectively build knowledge and also the ability to act on that knowledge will experience broad-scale famine. Assisting in bringing access to global networks of knowledge, helping to build social networks and building the learning networks that help communities grow, are the most important things the world can do not only for development, and ultimately for world stability.
