ABSTRACT

Much in the way of entrepreneurship inquiry has become stuck in to and for discussion of whether to ground explanation and understanding in the entrepreneur or the wider economic conditions. Freedom means potential movement and it is in enquiry into the nature of this movement that entrepreneurship studies can, the peoples argue, dissolve the big end/little end controversies. Actualization in entrepreneurship happens on the plane of intensity/individuation where an organizational creation, via difference and selection, emerges as it enters into relationships, becomes established, and takes its part as a form of organization amongst already organized forms. Entrepreneurship materializes in the realization that reality cannot be reduced to what is materialized. This is active self-understanding and the desirous and sometimes provocative summoning of what is beyond habit. The chapter also presents an overview on the key concepts discussed in this book.
