ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on extending our knowledge of nouns, prepositions, verbs, and conjunctions. Chapter 1 provided the essential foundation upon which this chapter builds. In this chapter, important grammatical concepts to learn are noun phrase, appositive, adjectival prepositional phrase, adverbial prepositional phrase, phrasal verb, active voice, passive voice, and conjunctive adverb.
