ABSTRACT
In this chapter we shall examine the remembrance, after a lapse of (a) one week and (b) eight months, of a series often rods arranged without the child's assistance in (regularly) increasing order of size. This simple case will provide us with an excellent starting point, because we know a very great deal about most aspects of this structure, both as an operational schema and also as a 'good form'.
