ABSTRACT

China constantly deepened communication and cooperation with neighboring countries, created favorable conditions to maintain and extend opportunity periods for high-speed development, and constructed a solid geostrategic base to defend national interests and to play an international role. Neighboring diplomacy commands a primary position in China's overall diplomatic strategic layout where great powers are the key; neighboring countries are primary factors developing countries are the foundation; multilateral relations are important arena. From the political point of view, neighboring countries are a primary base for China to defend sovereignty and play an international role. Neighboring countries are important partners for China to implement an opening-door policy and conduct reciprocal cooperation. With the advent of the 21st century, the neighboring environment was good and stable. However, given that problems emerged apart from the traditionally unsolved historical, territorial and security problems. Therefore, the Chinese government developed and improved China's Good-Neighbor Foreign Policy.
