ABSTRACT
Taylor has a great idea for his first paper in his first online class. He sits down and writes about his own experience and interviews his brother to get some more information for his assignment. He’s not sure where else to look for information so he goes to Wikipedia. He quotes directly from that web site. He is surprised when his professor returns his paper with a lower grade than he would have liked with the comment that he should have used scholarly sources and avoided opinion.
