ABSTRACT

Many of these chemical techniques are labor intensive and require the use of uncommon and costly materials, including chemicals and detergents that may destroy tissues. As such, the author’s preferred method is to use liquid soap or bath wash for rehydration solutions, because both are very cost-effective and the least labor-intensive rehydration methods. The bath wash has been found to be the most effective and most rapid rehydration method because it serves as a detergent and moisturizer for the skin.
