ABSTRACT
Knowing the steps of an interview and understanding how to act when conducting an interview can go a long way toward helping a person become a competent interviewer. This is only the starting point, however. Many other skills and techniques contribute to success in this fi eld. Some of these apply so frequently as to merit regarding them as essentials.
