ABSTRACT
Digital forensics is a relatively new discipline dealing with the analysis of data contained within electronic devices. In the past, digital forensics was typically a department within the police department. With the advent of new electronic devices and a decrease in cost, many people now own some type of digital product, such as a computer, tablet, or cell phone.
