ABSTRACT
Life in prison includes a wide range of emotions, including fear, anger, despair, and hope. Within this broad context offenders and victims, family and friends, and prison workers are all affected in one way or another. Severe acts of violence and unimaginable expressions of compassion emerge through Bo Lozoff ’s correspondence with prisoners and all whom their lives touch.
