ABSTRACT

A juvenile might be required to meet regularly with a probation officer or supervisor, attend counseling, observe a strict curfew schedule, and/or complete a specified period of community service or even restitution. Such orders also imply the authority of the court to revoke probation should the juvenile violate conditions. If there is a revocation hearing, the court may reconsider its original disposition, impose additional conditions, or impose such severe alternatives as placement in a state youth authority.
