Hurriedly, he pulled his mini motor home to the side of the road and sprinted across the highway. His wife, Pauline Clark, followed close behind.
First they saw Robert Duggar, one of the drivers involved in the collision. Fearing that his Chevy van would also be engulfed in flames and wanting to help, Duggar had jumped from his seat and run toward the burning vehicle ahead. At the sight of the inferno, he dropped to his knees and began to pound the ground with his fists. “Take care of him. Get him out of here,” instructed Albert. Pauline grabbed Duggar by the arm and made him sit by the side of the road. When asked if he was hurt, the sobbing Duggar could only reply, “No. Help them. Help them.”
