ABSTRACT
I’d like to close this book with a final invitation. It’s a story about an instructional music clinic for middle-school students that I had the privilege of chaperoning in 2012. Rather than simply telling you the story, I’d like to invite you to come along with me—to imagine yourself as a participant in the audience. We can sit together, elbow to elbow, in the comfy auditorium seats.
