ABSTRACT

Techniques geared toward the final phase of a treatment series, as well as toward endings of drama therapy sessions, are described, and categorized according to the therapeutic objectives of facilitating: (1) interconnection; (2) collective creativity and reflection; (3) intergroup perceptions; and (4) review, integration and celebration. Some of the techniques are ideally suited to the final session of treatment. As in the other chapters of Part II, descriptions of techniques are integrated with discussion and examples of clinical considerations, and applicability to particular ages and populations.
