ABSTRACT
This chapter explains the conscious and unconscious fantasy, and even mendacity, obviously plays an important role in building up the rumour, one could be satisfied with the psychological explanation. However, there are good reasons why the UFOs cannot be disposed of in this simple manner. So far as author know it remains an established fact, supported by numerous observations, that Ufos have not only been seen visually but have also been picked up on the radar screen and have left traces on the photographic plate. UFO report boils down to nothing less than that either psychic projection throws back radar echo, or else the appearance of real objects affords an opportunity for mythological projections. The dominating idea of a mediator and god, who became man, after having thrust the old polytheistic beliefs into the background, is now in its turn on the point of evaporating. The Ufos could travel approximately with the speed of light.
