ABSTRACT
Thermal comfort is one of the most decisive criteria for occupant well-being in living spaces and can have a major impact on the design of the building envelope and systems used to control the indoor environment. Energy use to achieve thermal comfort targets is therefore heavily influenced by the choice and application of thermal comfort criteria.
