Estimation An important contribution of the Kerala Migration Surveys (KMS) is the provision of a series of estimates of remittances to Kerala. In as much as these estimates are reproduced in the Kerala Planning Board’s Annual Economic Review, they have received semi-official acceptance (Government of Kerala 2012).
