ABSTRACT
This chapter centres upon the relevance of archaeology in today’s world and some of the political and ethical debates about ownership and presentation of the past. The first half focuses upon the ways in which different groups have sought to use evidence and images from the past. The second half focuses on the various ways in which archaeological knowledge is com muni - cated.
