ABSTRACT
Two Newfoundlanders were working on a job digging ditches, while their foreman who was a mainlander sat in the shade of a tree drinking a bottle of beer. The two Newfoundlanders were getting a bit fed up and one says to the other, “Tell me, b'y, why is we down 'ere slavin' away while dat dere fella is up dere drinkin' beer? That's not fair, ye know."
