ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on pull it all together into completing tutorials that represent a single unified concept. Here, people are going to create a fun concept of a Sci-Fi planetary scene of ringed planets and meteors. People will be introduced to spherical Depth Maps as the basis for creating the meteors. People going to begin by giving planetary scene its backdrop with a blanket of stars. After, they will add additional stars of various styles along with a cloud-like nebula to add visual interest. Now people going to begin building the meteors using spherical Depth Maps. Remember, Depth Maps use B&W values to determine the height and depth of an object, where dark values determine the depth and bright values determine the height. So, its begin by using the clouds command. One of the best ways to create planets is to use stone-like textures on spherical 3D objects.
