ABSTRACT
It is unique being in a fi eld dominated by men, in an Army that is dominated by men.
I joined the military after 9/11. I was a freshman in college. I don’t come from a military family and my parents were upset but I felt I needed to give back. I was commissioned through ROTC and went on active duty.
