ABSTRACT
There are a large variety of theatrical producing organizations in the United States. For the
purposes of this chapter, we will focus specifically on regional theatre, Broadway and summer
stock. There a quite a few differences between these three types of theatres, but the goals of
the production manager are the same-produce the show on time, on budget, safely and, in
the end, make sure everyone is still speaking to each other.
