ABSTRACT

The preceding chapters have all been about the job of the production manager. What does it

take to network, to make the client or director happy, and to have a successful production? The bottom line is that it takes hard work, long hours and extreme dedication to the art form in which you are working. The job of the production manager is not for the faint of heart or

those not seeking out some excitement in their everyday job. Careful thought should be given

before taking on the job. One must think of balance, define it for oneself, and decide on how

to achieve that in each circumstance.
