ABSTRACT
Shell-ejecting airsoft props are subject to many of the same jams that blank-firing props are, including stovepipes and double-feeds, so refer to the blank firing section for information on those. Issues with practical firearms may well overlap especially with the blank-firing sections. In 2013 the author created a wiki for blank-firing gun malfunctions, and it is certainly his hope that all of people who do this long enough to have problems will contribute to it. People should really have a backup plan in place, as it's not at all uncommon for this to happen at some point during the run of a play or the shooting of a movie. By sharing notes, they are more likely to be able to make informed choices about purchases and be aware of the main problems to be on the lookout for with the specific props they have in hand for any given project.
