ABSTRACT
The term Surface Finishes (NRM2 Work Section 28) is used to identify a number of finishing trades associated with the completion of the floors, walls and ceilings of a building. Each of these embraces several different operations including plastering, floor screeds, wall and floor tiling, sheet floor finishing, decorative papers or fabrics and decorating. Associated trades that are given their own NRM2 Work Section are Decoration (NRM2 Work Section 29) Suspended Ceilings (NRM2 Work Section 30) and Proprietary linings and partitions (NRM2 Work Section 20). Consideration of all of these trades will be included in this chapter.
