ABSTRACT

All opportunities for writing, including essays, emails and sometimes even writing text messages, form part of the process of people developing their writing skills. It may not surprise people to note that writing emails forms a huge part of working in a professional environment. In law school people will typically be asked to write answers to essay questions and problem questions as a method of assessment. In order to make these points, people will need to consider your research as well as think about what arguments you would like to make, supporting all of them with primary legal sources. In an essay, people need to support their arguments with specific sources, namely case law, legislation and academic arguments, which may be found in academic articles. A sensible lawyer would advise a client on all aspects of their claim, whether they are good or bad and you should do the same when answering a problem question.
