ABSTRACT

The Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) defines 'planning', also referred to as 'city/urban/town and regional planning', as the process of making decisions to guide future actions. Renowned physicist and author, Stephen Hawking, stated in his speech at Sydney's Opera House in 2015, delivered via hologram from the United Kingdom (UK), that he does not think the human race will survive another 1,000 years without escaping beyond our fragile planet. The digital revolution fulfilled the visions of many scientists and innovators, such as Ada Lovelace, Alan Turing, Vannevar Bush, JCR Licklider, Doug Engelbart and Steve Jobs, that computers would augment human intelligence as tools for both creativity and collaboration. The famous Moore's Law suggests that processor speeds or overall processing power for computers will double every two years. Flexible electronic paper is a display using organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology that mimics the appearance of ordinary ink on paper.
