ABSTRACT

This chapter contains a weekly overview and facilitator's guidelines for each session. The facilitator's guidelines are more detailed and provide examples of reflections to use during the sessions. The group facilitator needs to take the facilitator's guidelines with them to each session. Week one begins by introducing the group; explaining about the time and number of sessions. Week two begins by encouraging each child to colour their chart. Week three begins by Checking if they remember the ground rules and ask if they want to add to them. Week four begins by asking them to share examples of when they have been kind to other people this week and talk about how that felt. Week five begins by encouraging them to draw the facial expression for each one in the face next to it. Week six begins by asking them to share examples of when they noticed other children were being unkind.
