ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses Managing Product Delivery (MP) on Projects In Controlled Environments (PRINCE2) for beginners. The MP agrees work requirements with the project manager. It keeps the project manager informed on progress, quality and any problems, then gets approval for the finished work, and notifies the project manager that the work is finished. The work is delegated by the project manager, there must be appropriate steps by the team or person to whom the work is delegated to indicate understanding and acceptance of the work. While the work is being done, there may be a need to report progress and confirm quality checking. The responsibility will lie with a team manager to agree a work package with the project manager. If there are no team managers, the person who will do the work reports directly to the project manager, and this person would be responsible.
