ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses how to use personal pronouns and use prepositions to show ownership, and reflexive possessives. It discusses also how to use time expressions using "om", the months of the year, ordinal numbers and movie theatres and birthday parties. Colloquial Norwegian provides a step-by-step course in Norwegian as it is written and spoken today. Combining a user-friendly approach with a thorough treatment of the language, it equips learners with the essential skills needed to communicate confidently and effectively in Norwegian in a broad range of situations. Object pronouns are used as the object of a verb or a preposition. The reflexive possessive may not be used in the subject of a clause. When the subject of the clause is third person, and this subject is the owner of the object of the verb, the reflexive possessive is used. Movie theatre tickets can be ordered online or in person at any movie theatre.
