ABSTRACT
Making facial hair is a great first project to start learning the art of wig making. The best lace for making facial hair is either super lace or film lace; any other lace is too heavy to move as well as good facial hair needs to move. The best hair for making facial hair is human hair, yak hair, or other animal hair. Once the wig designer students have dealt with the issue of how to achieve the hair texture, they are ready to begin actually making facial hairpiece. The students should gather the colors and texture of facial hair that they wish to use. Beards and goatees probably have the most variety in shape of any other piece of facial hair. To remove the facial hair, use some spirit gum remover on a cotton swab. Soak the cotton swab and use it to work one edge of the facial hair loose.
