ABSTRACT

Once upon a time in a rough part of San Francisco, there was a boy named William. He was different from the other kids and they would tease him at school. He would walk home and try to ignore the drunk men shouting in his street. Sometimes he heard gun shots outside his window. He wished they would go away. And then one day he came here and began to draw. He drew the people who had been shot, back to life. He drew his city, but the way he wanted it to be. And he drew beautiful and strong women he’d never met.
