ABSTRACT

This chapter explains that during the team training design process, the training developer focuses on delineating learning objectives, outlining course content to meet stated objectives. It assists team training designers with the details of planning and creating team training content. A part of selecting team training technology is to ensure the organization has enough resources to operate and maintain the used platforms. The chapter illustrates that the training is intentionally designed to meet a specific need by following a predetermined, evidence-based process. This process consists of formulating learning objectives, facilitating controlled learning experiences, establishing performance criteria, conducting performance assessment, and providing helpful feedback. The chapter discusses that how team training is designed, how training is planned, organized, and structured. Trainers/facilitators/instructors are the individuals directly interact with the learners by introducing instructional content through lectures and demonstrations, monitoring the performance of learners during practice scenarios, and providing feedback.
