ABSTRACT
In this book we have attempted a synthetic overview of the economic geography of industrialized capitalist society. We have chosen an analytical framework to do this because it allows us to develop the links between the various elements that make up the capitalist space economy. In this conclusion we will draw some of these threads together, discuss some elements still missing from the framework, and speculate on some implications of the analysis for research in economic geography.
