ABSTRACT
This copies the selection contents, so that they become a new layer. You can use this shortcut to copy multiple layers or layer groups. Also, you can cut and copy the contents from a layer by choosing Layer ➯ New ➯ Layer via Cut or use the CSj (Mac), LSj (PC) keyboard shortcut.
