ABSTRACT
There are many challenges that lie ahead for the video game industry. We believe that there is huge potential for this industry to create a medium that is inclusive and interesting. But there are also threats that could lead to the building of a regressive industry. In this chapter we offer our view on the future. But, as a wise man once told us: it is hard to make predictions, especially about the future.
