ABSTRACT
At the end of 2008, the Chinese government formed a new international fi nancial strategy comprising a “trinity” – promoting RMB internationalization, accelerating currency cooperation in East Asia and advocating the implementation of international currency system reform. Signifi cant progress has been made in many aspects in terms of CNY internationalization. With acceleration of the CNY internationalization process, many problems have appeared gradually.
