ABSTRACT
Circulation planning has two major influences on the overall
stadium layout: zoning the stadium for safe escape from fire,
and subdividing the stadium for crowd management.
As already described in Section 3.3, the modern stadium is
designed as five concentric zones:
• Zone 1 is the playing field or activity area, and central area
of the stadium.
